Frequently asked questions

What Clarido is, how it works, and what to expect when you commit to your first intention.

What Clarido Is

What is Clarido?

A coach that helps you commit to one intention at a time. You talk to your coach about what's on your mind. They help you cut through the noise and land on a single intention worth holding for the season you're in. That intention then lives on your lock screen, your home screen, and your Apple Watch as a daily reminder of who you're trying to become.

What is an intention?

An intention is a posture, not a task. Not "send the email" or "lose 10 pounds," but "be present with my kids," "stop apologizing for taking up space," "remember why I started this business." It's the underlying way of being you want to commit to for the next season of your life. Tasks come and go. The intention is what shapes the way you move through your days.

How long does an intention last?

As long as you need the reminder. Some intentions stay for a couple of days. Some carry you through months. There's no fixed timeline. You hold each one for as long as it's the thing that matters most, and your coach helps you find the next one when something else does.

How is Clarido different from a productivity app?

Productivity apps assume the problem is doing more. Clarido assumes the problem is choosing well. Most days fill themselves. The harder question is what this season is actually about, and Clarido is the quiet space to figure that out and commit.

How is Clarido different from ChatGPT or another AI assistant?

A general AI starts every conversation cold. Clarido remembers everything you've shared. Over weeks and months, your coach builds a picture of your life — patterns, blind spots, what you keep coming back to — and uses it to help you find intentions that are actually yours, not generic advice.

Is Clarido a therapy app?

No. Clarido is not therapy and doesn't replace professional mental health care. It's a coach for clarity and commitment, not a clinician. If you're working through something serious, please see a real therapist.

Who It's For

Who uses Clarido?

Anyone who wants to be more intentional about how they show up. Some people come at moments of obvious change — a new role, a new baby, a chapter ending. Others come from a life that's basically working, but with the sense that there's a sharper version of themselves they're trying to grow into. The mechanism is the same either way: a coach to help you name what matters, an intention to commit to, and a daily reminder to live by it.

Do I need to be in a transition to use Clarido?

No. Plenty of people use Clarido in a season that's basically working, just because they want to be sharper about what they're doing with their time and energy. The practice is the same either way: name what matters most right now, commit to it, and live with it on your screen until it shapes how you move.

How It Works

How does Clarido work?

Three movements. First, you talk to your coach about what's on your mind, by voice or text. Second, your coach proposes an intention in your words, and you shape it until it sounds like something you'd actually say. Third, you commit, and the intention lives on your lock screen, your home screen, and your Apple Watch.

Why does the lock screen matter?

You pick up your phone 80–100 times a day. If your intention is right there each time, it shapes the small choices you don't even notice you're making — what to say yes to, where to put a free hour, what to ignore. Over time those small choices compound into who you become. The lock screen is the mechanism that turns a single coaching conversation into a daily practice.

Can I have more than one intention at a time?

No. One intention at a time. The clarity comes from choosing. If you're trying to focus on health and career and relationship at once, your coach helps you identify which one is actually the thing right now.

Can I use voice instead of typing?

Yes. Talk to your coach by voice or text, whichever feels right. Most people find voice easier when they're sorting through something complicated.

Does Clarido remember our previous conversations?

Yes. Your coach remembers everything you've shared. The longer you use Clarido, the more specific the coaching gets, because it's grounded in your actual life rather than generic prompts.
